K9 Scent Detection

We got our First bed bug dog Cosmo in 2005.  He retired a few years ago and is now an actor starring in movies and commercials.  He was always a diva, and now we have Ed.  Just goes to show what it’s really like working with yours truly.

Bedbugs aren’t going anywhere

We spent the last two months training and working with our new dogs, Dora and Synergy.  These bed bug hunting beasts are actually highly trained and need to be disciplined and well behaved.  But just like working with any other colleague, dogs have their good days and moods and the handler’s job is to know how to get the best out of the K9.  Ed always talks about not getting it when we first decided to get a Bed bug dog back in 2006.  We’ve had dogs on staff at Colony Pest Management ever since.  You can check out some pictures of us training and the re-certification process in the album under Pics. 

Getting rid of Bed Bugs
